Venting Thread (Don't break the rules tho, keep it civil and shit this isn't a place to be all like "hey this guy on the forums really pisses me off" it should be about other shit)
You may be smarter, but here in the admin department, I hold the power
I’m happy with highschool math get away with that foul beast
And I got to be part of a Skype call with Christopher Larkin, the composer of Hollow Knight
In real life it is used in your career if it’s in your field. Maths is responsible for so many things in your life that you are probably unaware of.
It also teaches you logical thinking, which can benefit you in every area of life. Maths is a certain way of thinking about things systematically.
I thought this was a venting thread
engineering is way more teaching a mindset than math will ever be don’t @ me
this is a venting thread of math
Do you have any math problems you want to talk about?
are we all here to talk about how difficult multi-variable integration is then?
No because that ain’t that awful tbh
Calc 3 was actually super fun though, 100% a fan of multivariable calc
Well I don’t know many engineers to be honest, so I can’t comment too much on it.
I did Econometrics, so it’s more statistics oriented and somewhat specialized, but we had the same basic intro math courses as normal Math majors.
I’m doing a math minor
Did anyone need help with Chinese ;-;
Okay yeah when you put it like that that wasn’t even that hard lmao
Finished a and the answer is 1
Rather than deal with calculating the volume of a polyhedron though I realized that you could split the resulting volume up into two tetrahedrons and then use 1/6 times the cross and dot product of the vectors between the vertices to calculate the volume. Just add each tetrahedron together and bam!
Hahaha we didn’t have calc in yr 11
Because ya’ll dumb
8 days… 8 DAYS!!!
