The Spiritualist (BD Social) & The Necromancer (Unseen Social)

I made these two images in GIMP since I don’t have photoshop, so the font & format is wrong but it still shows the abilities of these two classes

The Spiritualist

Blue Dragon Social

Crystal Ball (Day) : You will learn if target player used a day ability at the end of the night.

Seance (Night): Recieve the last feedback of a dead Blue Dragon member. Can not be used on BD Killer/BD Social classes, or the King. Can only use each dead BD member once. Does not count as a visit.
Last Rites (Night): Perform the primary action of a dead Blue Dragon member. Can not be used on BD Killer classes, except Knight. Each dead BD member can only be used once.

The Necromancer

Unseen Social

Dark Arts (Day): Secretly prevent your target from using day abilities for the rest of the day. Cannot target King.

Raise Dead (Night): Perform the primary action of any dead non-killer class. Cannot be used on the Mastermind or the King, but can be used on a Knight. Dead players can be used infinitely.
Grave Silence (Night): Any messages sent by this player today will be hidden to the public, and will be whispered to you. The targeted player will not be aware of this effect. Cannot target King.

Ability feedback for Spiritualist:

Crystal Ball:

  • Tonight, you will learn if (player) [x] used a day ability today.
  • (player) [x] used/did not use a day ability yesterday.

Seance:
Say that 8 is a Princess, who flirted 13 on the night they (8) died.

  • You will perform a seance with (player) [8] tonight.
  • (player) [13] is a Killer or Offensive class.
    or,
  • (player) [8] did not receive any feedback on the night they died. (they were occupied/hit jail/were a poss jump)

Last Rites:
You select two targets, the first being the dead BD member, and the second being the alive player you want to target.
Lets say that 7 is a dead Butler, and you want to occupy 10.

  • You will serve wine to (player) [10] tonight.
  • You occupied them/they were occupy immune.
    You will receive this feedback even if the targeted BD member was a Possessor jump, and the targeted player will not be occupied in this case.
    Also, you will be shown to visit the second target of Last Rites (the alive one)

Ability feedback for Necromancer:

Dark Arts:
- (player) [x] will be prevented from using day abilities today.

Raise Dead:
Same feedback and rules as Last Rites. (except for use of non-BD members and infinite use as opposed to one-time use)

Grave Silence:
- All messages sent by (player) [x] will be whispered to you tomorrow.

Can you use the same corpse multiple times?

If so, infinite occ/red immune Knight guards on Prince lul

Anyways, I think there is value in being able to kill off classes that have abilities you don’t want to have to deal with

This class being able to bring them back from beyond the grave seems to kinda counter that idea

Only once as spiritualist, infinite if Necromancer (necro can use primary of neutrals/other dead converts).

i never said i knew how to read, i was pretty sure you mentioned this in discord but it’s probably worth noting in the actual ability

especially since it differs upon convert

How does this interact with Possessor/Herbalist?

Maybe if spiritualist wasn’t occupy immune, then it would be easier to counter. Originally I had the occupy/redirect immunity because both of Spiritualist’s day abilities didn’t count as visiting, but I changed it so that just Seance didn’t count as visiting.

There is definitely no reason it should be occupy immune

How does this interact with Possessor/Herbalist?

When using seance, you will get “- (player) [8] did not receive any feedback on the night they died. (they were occupied/hit jail/were a poss jump)”

For last rites/raise dead, you will receive the ability use feedback even if the targeted BD member was a Possessor jump. (i.e. you use a Butler, it will tell you that you occupied x when you didn’t, because it was a possessor jump/herbalist defile/scorned disguise)
I’m thinking that maybe Necromancer could get a passive where they know the true classes of flips

I’m not sure if it can target King, and it seems like it would be not possible to “secretly” cause point/DF to fail, so probably not.

Grave Silence outing a Necromancer is fine imo, just as Illusionist using blur outs them as Illusionist. Both should typically fake claim if they are converted before outing. (Necro can just not use Grave Silence)

I wouldn’t use Illusionist’s blur as a reason. It needs removed/completely reworked from what I remembered when I last played.
