Grand Idea - Quality Thread

Dunno how long this will go

Anyways, this is for any quality FoL grand idea classes.

Rules are:

  1. Cannot prevent another class in thread from rolling.
  2. Cannot target specific players.
  3. Each class must be its own post, and each post must have the correct number.
  4. You cannot have multiple of the same class as posts in a reasonable margin. = 100 posts
  5. Classes cannot target other specific classes unless they are meant to be a faction softcounter or hardcounter.
  6. Go to town with this.

Crusader
Hamlet (town) Offensive
Crus

Zealous Vigil (Passive) - All stress gains / losses are halved until day 3. You will also be immune to Occupation and Redirection. You will keep this passive upon changing class.
Bulwark of Faith (Passive) - All attacks on your night target will be redirected to you. You will be immune the first time you are attacked this way.

Inspiring Cry (Day) - Target player will live for an additional night if they were to die tonight. Target also heals 25% stress. Can target yourself. (2 Uses)
Zealous Accusation (Day) - You will attack whoever you visit tonight. (Single Use)

Stunning Blow (Night) - Occupy a player. You cannot stun the same player twice in a row (Infinite Uses)
Holy Lance (Night) - Redirect all abilities to your target, bypassing immunities. You will be immune to death tonight. Heal 10 stress for each ability redirected. (Single Use)

Stress: 0/200

Stress Mechanics

When stress = 200, you will commit suicide.

Gain 10 stress whenever a town-aligned player dies
Gain 20 stress whenever a town-aligned player is lynched
Gain 30 stress whenever YOU kill a town-aligned player.

Triple all stress gains when a religious character is the one who dies.

Lose 10 stress whenever a scum-aligned player dies
Lose 20 stress whenever a scum-aligned player is lynched
Lose ALL stress whenever you kill a member of the Cult

You will lose 50% stress whenever you kill a neutral player.


When converted…


Zealot
Unseen Support

Zealous Vigil (Passive) - You will be immune to Occupation and Redirection. You will keep this passive upon changing class.
Conviction (Passive) - When you are lynched, the Mastermind will be able to convert tonight, regardless of cooldown.

Battle Heal (Day) - Heal a player tonight. If the Assassin were to be attacked when targeted by this ability, they will kill their attacker, bypassing immunities. (2 Uses)

Smite (Night) - Remove a player’s immunities for the night. This includes applied immunities such as Guards!. (2 Uses)
Crippling Strike (Night) - If the target player would have visited a member of the Unseen, you will occupy them for two nights. (2 Uses)


This class becomes the invoker when converted into the cult

Cult Alts!

You cannot take Holy Lance.
Stunning Blow can be taken for 1 cult point, and does the same thing.

1-cost alts

Dedication (Bulwark of Faith) - If a member of the cult were to be attacked, you will be attacked instead. You will have one time death immunity to attacks redirected to you.
Harrowing Howl (Inspiring Cry) - The Cult Leader will be able to attack an additional player with Eradicate. (Single Use)
Cult Vigil (Zealous Vigil) - All stress gains will be doubled.

2-cost alt

Last Sacrifice (Zealous Accusation) - You will explode, killing yourself and two players if you live until the end of the day. Cannot target the King. Cannot kill targets that would normally be death immune during the night. (1 Use)

Duelist’s Advance (Passive) - After successfully killing a member of the scum faction with any your day/night abilities, you will kill your next attacker at the cost of your life, bypassing immunities.
Bandit’s Sense (Passive) - Players who visit you will not be able to be visited by other players.

Tracking Shot (Day) - Learn who the targeted player visited last night. (2 Uses)
Open Vein (Day) - Cause a player to bleed. They will die in two days if not healed. (2 Uses)

Point-Blank Shot (Night) - Kill all players who visit you tonight preemptively. You will be immune to conversion. All stress gains / losses are cut in half. (2 Uses)
Wicked Slice (Night) - Attack a player. (1 Use)

Stress: 0/200

Stress Mechanics

When stress = 200, you will commit suicide.

Gain 20 stress whenever a town-aligned player dies
Gain 40 stress whenever a town-aligned player is lynched
Gain 50 stress whenever YOU kill a town aligned player

Lose 10 stress whenever a scum-aligned player dies
Lose 20 stress whenever a scum-aligned player is lynched
Lose 75% stress whenever YOU kill a scum-aligned player

Criminal
Unseen Offensive

Unparalleled Fitness (Passive) - Can use both night abilities in the same night.

Grapeshot Blast (Day) - Select two players. They will be prevented from using any night abilities tonight. This has 20% accuracy individually. (2 Uses)
Connections (Day) - Prevent a player from voting for the rest of the day. They will not know this. (Single Use)

Pistol Shot (Night) - Mark a player. When targeted by Hidden Blade, they will bleed to death in a single night. When targeted by Grapeshot Blast, it will have 75% accuracy instead. (Infinite Uses)
Dirty Work (Night) - Kill a player who has made less than 20 posts today. (2 Uses)

This class is not affected by stress, as they are dedicated to their mission even when facing their potential death.

This class becomes the invoker when converted into the cult.

Cult Alts!

All alts cost 1 point

Cannot take Point Blank shot

Rend for the Old Gods (Open Vein alt) - Cause a player to bleed uncontrollably. They will die in two days if not healed. When used a second time, you will die at the end of the next day. (2 Uses)
Enforcer’s Presence (Bandit’s Sense alt) - All members of the Cult are immune to occupation and redirection. Your visits will be guaranteed.
Headhunt (Wicked Slice alt) - Attack a player who is bleeding. Bypasses healing. (Single Use)
Tracking shot stays the same.

Roleplayer

Blue Dragon Variable
Backstory (Passive) - You will be given one of the following backstories at random at the end of Day 1:

  • Noble - you have noble blood in your veins. In addition, you know where the room of someone else with noble blood, or the king themself. is
  • Jailor - you are friends with (one of) the prince(s): You know where (one of) the jail(s) is/are
  • Mutinous - you entertain the idea of overthrowing the blue dragon: you know where one of the evil factions’ rooms are. (for this background, you can look into getting yourself converted with it not counting as gamethrowing, if both you and the host agree)
  • Apathetic - you do not particularly care whether or not the blue dragon stands. instead of blue dragon, you are now Neutral. In addition, you know where the room of another (not NK) neutral is.
  • Alcoholic - you love the bottle, and it caresses you to sleep. you know where a bar is. in addition, you are in possesion of a (half full) bottle of wine is.
  • optional Other - the host comes up with a backstory along these lines for you to have.

Action (day/night) - Give a flavor action to the host, in character and within reason, and this will determine your ability this night. you have access to any room that you know where it is (yours by default plus others) and that isnt blocked by other means (e.g. the jail is generally locked when in use). Note that during the day you are in the court room and only have your possesions on you, and if you leave your absence will probably be noticed (perhaps a notification from the host).

Mechanic Transference (Passive) - the idea of this class will transfer over through conversions where applicable, and you will have to flavor your actions if they are new and given to you.

Witch: 76

Unseen Killer
Determined (Passive) - You are immune to most occupation and redirection abilities.
Lost Wolf (Passive) - All Unseen members, in exception to you, will receive in their rolecards a list of who eachother are with their roles. The Unseen shall now talk in a QuickTopic thread, using their classes as names.
“I’ve got you in my sights.” (Day) - Reply to your target: Once during the Lynch Phase, you can dayvig your target. If your target flips as a Blue Dragon, Town or Hamlet-aligned player then you can reply “Target rich environment.” to another and dayvig them as well. - 1 use.
Witchcraft (Night) - Control someone each night. - Infinite uses
Helix Rockets (Night) - Check a target. If the target cannot win with the Unseen, you will kill them. - 1 use.

Survive to see the Town lose the game. If no Town members spawned, survive to see the Hamlet lose instead. If no Hamlet members spawned, survive to see the Blue Dragon lose.

A Journey for Pardon (Passive) - If someone says in the chat that they have hope on you or that they pardon your deeds (not /pardon), you will convert into The Good Rogue

Blue Dragon Killer
Hidden Blade (Day) - Cut your target, causing them to bleed. They will bleed and die in two nights if not healed. - 4 uses (shared with the Unseen Assassin)
Distract (Day) - Distract a player, rendering them unable to any day abilities for the rest of the day. - 1 use
Assassinate (Night) - Kill a player. - Infinite uses

Defeat the Unseen or Cult and any neutrals that seek to do you harm.

Each player may choose to “attack” another player each day, in private. When attacked, the host will roll a 20-sided die and apply the buffs or debuffs for the hit. If the resulting number is equal or superior to the opponent’s armor class (AC), they will receive damage equal to the damage dice of the attacker.

When dropped to 0 HP, the player dies.

When killed using this method, all attackers are presented in the thread alongside with the dead’s flip.

Your objective is to see three monsters slayed by the use of this method.

The Amnesiac Chronoman

Neutral Special
Time Lapse (Passive) - The game will start on Day 500. All effects regarding to day/night passing will be counted. All effects related to any day or night before Day 500 will be anulled.
I was a… (Night) - Pick a class from the dead list. You will become that class. It will be announced to the Court which class you have chosen. You will gain neutral MVP at the end of the game if you choose to become an Amnesiac.
Survive to remember your class.

The Aetherborn

Neutral Special
Made of Aether (Passive) - You are made from an immaterial resource, and your existence is slowly vanishing away. You start with 10 Charges of Aether. Each day that passes, including Day 1, you will consume one Charge of Aether. When you reach 0 Charges of Aether, you lose. Your two passives remain even if your class is changed.
Almost Immortal, Fool (Passive) - Each time you would be killed, consume a Charge of Aether and stay alive instead. However, each time you use one of your abilities, consume a Charge of Aether.
Claiming is Unsafe (Day) - Silently kills two players if they have claimed their classes. - Infinite uses
Haunting Presence (Day) - Execute the player on trial. It would appear as if the King used Decide Fate. - Infinite uses
Made with Life Essence (Night) - There shall be two trials tomorrow. - Infinite uses
Sharing the Aether (Night) - Guarantee all actions will be done with success, bypassing all types of immunities. - Infinite uses
Have one or more Charges of Aether until the game ends.

Unseen Support
Multiple Souls (Passive) - Each time someone joins your place in the game, you gain one use of all your abilities and give night immunity for all Unseen members that night. You can rejoin the same spot various times.
Follow WHO? (Passive) - If the Observer tries to target you, they will be redirected into a random target.
Calling Out the Monsters (Day) - Give the Unseen Killers a strongman effect tonight - 1 use.
Devotion (Day) - Refresh the Mastermind’s conversion cooldown - 1 uses.
Shadow Step (Night) - Prevent visits to Unseen members tonight - 2 uses.
Mark of Prey (Night) - Mark a player. They won’t know hey have been marked. If you die, the players die in your place - 0 uses.

Blue Dragon Killer

Jump Jet (Day) - Marks a player in your sights while learning of their abilities and flavor. - Infinite uses.
Earthshatter (Day) - Once during the Lynch Phase, you may say “ Hammer DOWN! ” and all players on your wagon will not be able to kill either for the remainder of today or tonight. - 1 use.
Pulse Bomb (Day) - Once during the Lynch Phase, you may say “ Locked on! ” to kill two players who have the lowest post count. - 1 use.
Barrage (Day) - You can say “ Justice rains from above! ” to kill every player you’ve marked with Jump Jet. - 1 use.

The Apprentice Necromancer

Neutral Offensive
Protection Call (Passive) - All healers in the game are redirected to you should they use any abilities while you are alive.
Necromantic Rituals (Passive) - While you live, living and dead can communicate at night. The dead won’t have a deadchat until you die.
Eldritch Blast (Day) - Send to the host the name of four players, and the host will announce in the thread that the selected players are in the range of the Eldritch Blast, alongside with its description. Until the end of the day you can select two to the host to day vig them. The message “Am I doing this right, master?” will be shown alongside their flips - 1 use.
Arcane Mirror (Day) - If any player attempts to daykill you then you will redirect their attacks back to themselves. - 2 uses.
Ether’s Hand (Night) - Steal a night ability from another player, removing it from them and giving it to you. You will have the uses that they did at the start of the game. 1 use.
Survive to see all members of the Hamlet dead.

Unfinished Business (Day) - If there is no convert, kill a player the Mercenary attempted to convert, bypassing any immunity. - 1 Use, not usable until day 3.
Mod-Messing (Night) - The host must post random things for the next day. - Infinite Uses.
